Prof. van der Stok was a Priest of the Liberal Catholic Church, trained in clairvoyance. He spent many years of his life investigating the results of Ceremonies on human consciousness, and their effect in the invisible realms.

He left series of lectures about his research in the Liberal Catholic Church, Masonry, and the Order of the Round Table.

His memory is particularly revered in the Saint Michael Theosophical Center in Huizen (Naarden), where he lived and worked for many years.
