The Presiding Bishop is on an extended journey, visiting several provinces, which will keep him away from home for some four months. He will visit, amoungst others, Columbia, Argentina, Brazil, United States of America and the Netherlands.

Rt. Rev. Reuben Cabigting of the U.S.A. recently underwent heart surgery and is making remarkable recovery.

Rev. Albert Honsa was ordained to the priesthood in Perth in September 1997 by Rt. Rev. Allan Bradley.

The Church in Ghana celebrated its 35th anniversary in 1997. As part of the celebration, a retreat was held on All Saints’ Day under the leadership of Rt. Rev. Isaac Zaney.

St. Francis Church in Chicago celebrated its first Eucharist in its new facility on November 2, 1997.

Rev. Theo Werink was ordained to the priesthood on November 8, 1997 in Naarden, Netherlands by Rt. Rev. Philip Draaisma.

News from Hungary is that two Acolytes were ordained to the subdiaconate by Rt. Rev. Rudolf Hammer on December 7, 1997.

Rev. Iain Macleod was ordained to the priesthood in London on January 10, 1998 by Rt. Rev. Richard Palmer.

Rev. Hans Ritzer was ordained to the priesthood on February 14, 1998 in Naarden, Netherlands by Rt. Rev. Philip Draaisma.

Rt. Rev. Arnoldo Martín Salzmann will be consecrated to the Epsicopate by the Presiding Bishop on April 5, 1998 in Mendoza, Argentina.

The Province of Great Britain and Ireland will hold their congress at Royal Holloway College from August 19 to 22, 1998.

The next Australian Congress will be held from January 8 to 12, 1999 at Glen College, La Trobe University, in Melbourne.
